Voting procedure.

The on-chain record of a single vote cast by a DRep, SPO, or the Constitutional Committee.

In depth

A vote on Cardano is not a transfer; it is a voting procedure submitted as part of a transaction. It records the voter’s identity (DRep, SPO, or CC member), the governance action being voted on, and a Yes / No / Abstain choice. Vote weight is read from the staking distribution.

Example

A DRep submits a voting procedure of "Yes" on governance action #42, signed by the DRep key; the chain records it for everyone to audit.
