Constitutional Committee.

A small group that checks whether each governance action complies with the constitution.

In depth

The Constitutional Committee (CC) is a group of members whose composition, size and quorum threshold are set via governance actions. For most action types, CC approval is required in addition to DRep and (sometimes) SPO approval. As a body the CC does not propose changes, its role is to judge whether actions are constitutional. Like any ada holder, an individual member can still submit a governance action.

Example

A treasury withdrawal proposal needs both a DRep majority and a Constitutional Committee approval to take effect.
